Terror on Tremont Street

In the year 1972, the esteemed Dr. Rendell was the town doctor of Lincoln, IL. Apparently he was a good doctor and he had a lovely wife and son. But his wife came down with a heart condition. As she wasted away, dying slowly, there was nothing that Dr. Rendell could do. This made him go insane as he tortured himself looking for a cure. He began murdering his patients and removing their hearts in hope of finding the perfect one for his wife. It's said if Dr. Rendell had not lost his mind, he may have performed the perfect heart transplant. Dr. Rendell's wife passes away from her illness and Dr. Rendell is arrested for his patient's murders. His son is never found, only to be discovered later that Rendell concealed him before the authorities got to him by sewing him up in his wife's body so that he was carried out of the house by the medics.

It is 2008 and we find out what happened to the son of Dr. Rendell. He was found in 1973, one year after his mother's passing and his father's arrest, wondering the hospital grounds where his father once worked. Communication with the child was non-existent, so finding his parents was impossible. The son was declared an orphan at the age of 7. Since the boy was also labeled insane, he was put in an asylum where he grew up. The workers at the asylum called him Dr. Giggles due to the fact he thinks he's a doctor, just like his father and giggling at the other patient's pain is the only form of communication Dr. Giggles understands. Pain and torture became a way of life for Dr. Giggles. In January of 2008, Dr.Giggles escaped the asylum at the age of 42. Some say his escape was bloody and easy as he killed those that stood in his way.

Dr. Giggles has returned to the town that once praised his father as the town doctor, Lincoln, IL. He has set up his own hospital on Tremont Street and performs his own "treatments" on unwilling patients snatched off the streets in total darkness. The screams, the torture and the pain. Are they the result of scientific research or self-medication for the mad doctor, Dr. Giggles
